At Alison, we specialize in parenteral dosage forms, including sterile injectable drugs, and are engaged in R&D focused on developing, manufacturing, and marketing finished medications that must be sterile. These dosage forms of therapeutic agents are free of viable microorganisms and include those administered through injection, intravenous infusion (IV), intraocular (injection in the eye), or intrathecal (injection in the spine), and are administered directly into the bloodstream or body tissues.
Our LVP (Large Volume Parenteral) solutions are primarily administered intravenously to deliver a larger volume of liquid medication directly into a patient's circulatory system via infusion. Common LVP solutions include saline and dextrose.
